Breakfast amidst lush greenery 🌿

Our whole crispy fried fish is a true classic, featuring a perfect blend of chili, tangy tamarind, delicate finger ginger, and a three-flavour sauce. Topped with pickled garlic, crisp basil, and roasted rice, it's a dish that has stood the test of time and continues to be a crowd favorite.

Our 'vegetarian katsu curry, udon noodles, Japanese pickles' complimented by our signature 'Chilli Hero' cocktail.

If you don't have lunch plans this weekend, can we suggest a visit to Maleny? Make a day of it. There's plenty to see and do in the area before and after a meal. Most of our team are locals so will be sure to point you in the right direction too.

Enjoy a 2-course à la carte lunch starting from $75, or 3-courses from $99 each weekend at The Tamarind. Enjoy live jazz music in the rainforest every second Sunday.

When you join us for lunch over a weekend, feel free to arrive early or linger afterwards to take a leisurely stroll through our captivating sculpture garden—an experience sure to intrigue both art enthusiasts and curious visitors alike.

The Sculpture Garden is open from 10am to 4pm, Saturday and Sunday.

Take a seat by the firepit in the lush tropical surrounds of Spicers Tamarind Retreat and enjoy a complimentary dumpling tasting. Sample handmade dumplings from the team at The Tamarind, with one vegetable-filled and one meat-filled option on offer.

Tastings will take place at 4pm daily. Bookings are essential, contact reception to book.
